Guy Massry in the operating room: seven blepharoplasty and periorbital cases, from fat repositioning to retraction repair
Aesthetic Eyelid and Periorbital Surgery: Surgical Adjuncts and Pearls for Success is a six-hour set of seven narrated operations led by oculoplastic surgeon Guy G. Massry, with Amy Patel listed as co-author. Each recording follows a real patient: upper and lower blepharoplasty, brow fat pad suspension, lacrimal gland repositioning, internal ptosis repair, an endoscopic temporal brow lift and a full reconstruction of lower lid retraction after earlier eyelid surgery.

What you’ll be able to do
- Follow the marking, anaesthesia and dissection steps of upper lid blepharoplasty with brow fat pad suspension sutures
- Understand how transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with subperiosteal fat repositioning is used to soften the lid–cheek hollow
- See where closed canthal suspension and intraciliary skin excision fit when lower lid laxity or skin excess is present
- Recognise the staged logic of post-blepharoplasty retraction repair: retractor release, canthoplasty, midface lift and hard palate grafting
- Judge when an endoscopic temporal brow lift or lacrimal gland repositioning belongs in an upper face plan
Inside the course
Upper eyelid work in three variations
Several cases start with the upper lid, and Massry shows how he marks the skin, preserves orbicularis where it helps, and places sutures that lift and add volume to the brow fat pad. One case adds repositioning of a prolapsed lacrimal gland.
Lower lid rejuvenation without an external scar
The transconjunctival route is used to release and drape orbital fat under the periosteum, often combined with a closed canthal suspension and a small flap-style skin pinch at the lash line.
Combined upper face surgery
A single 67-minute case strings together an endoscopic temporal brow lift, bilateral upper blepharoplasty, internal ptosis correction on the right and lower lid fat repositioning, which shows how the steps are sequenced in one sitting.
Salvaging a retracted lower lid
The 49-minute secondary case treats cicatricial retraction with a temporal brow lift to prevent canthal bunching, open canthoplasty, a preperiosteal myofascial midface advancement, hard palate grafts to both lids and a Frost suture tarsorrhaphy.

Does the course cover lasers and fillers as eyelid adjuncts?
The title mentions surgical adjuncts, but the seven recorded lessons are operations; there is no separate lesson dedicated to lasers or injectables.
How much does Amy Patel teach?
Every lesson in the list is credited to Guy Massry, so expect his voice and technique throughout.
Is this enough to begin performing these operations?
No. Watching recorded cases supports learning but does not replace supervised oculoplastic training or local privileges for eyelid surgery.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
