Privacy policy
What ATLAS MA LLC (trading as Clinicapedia) collects, why, who it’s shared with, and the controls you have. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
1 · Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is ATLAS MA LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company trading as Clinicapedia, 304 S. Jones Blvd #2697, Las Vegas, NV 89107, United States. For any privacy question or request, email support@clinicapedia.com.
2 · What we collect
To sell and deliver digital files we collect as little as we can:
- Account & order data — name, email address, billing country/address, order history and download records.
- Payment data — processed entirely by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as card type and last four digits); full card numbers never reach our servers.
- Communications — messages you send us through email, the contact form or the title-request form.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and referring site, collected through cookies and analytics (see our cookies policy).
3 · How we use it
- To process orders, deliver files and keep your purchases available in your account.
- To send receipts, download links and service messages about your orders.
- To answer support requests and title requests.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised redistribution, and to keep the site secure.
- To understand how the site is used and improve the catalogue.
- To send marketing emails — only if you opt in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
4 · Legal bases (EU/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (delivering your purchases and running your account); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security and improving the service); consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies — withdraw it at any time); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5 · Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with service providers that make the store work — payment processors, email delivery, website hosting and analytics — under contracts that limit their use of it, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. If the business is ever sold or merged, data may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
6 · International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where data from the EU/UK is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
7 · How long we keep it
- Order and billing records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Your account and download library — until you ask us to delete it.
- Support messages — for as long as needed to resolve the matter and keep a reasonable record.
- Analytics data — on the analytics provider’s standard retention window.
8 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may also complain to their local data-protection authority. To make a request, email support@clinicapedia.com from the address on your account; we may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days (or the period your local law sets).
9 · US state privacy rights
Residents of California, Nevada and other US states with privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
10 · Security
We use TLS encryption on every page, encrypted checkout through our payment providers, hashed passwords and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
11 · Children
Clinicapedia is a professional resource and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12 · Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the cart and your login, and — with your consent — preference and analytics cookies. Details and choices are in our cookies policy.
13 · Changes
If this policy changes materially we will flag it on the site and update the date below.
