Cookies policy
The short version: essential cookies run the cart and your login; everything else asks first.
1 · What cookies are
Small text files a site stores in your browser so it can remember things between pages — like what’s in your cart or that you’re logged in. They can’t run code or read your files.
2 · The cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Can you refuse? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Cart contents, checkout session, account login, security tokens (WooCommerce & WordPress cookies). | No — the store can’t function without them. |
| Preferences | Remembering choices like currency or a dismissed notice. | Yes. |
| Analytics | Anonymous usage statistics that tell us which shelves get read — used to improve the catalogue. | Yes. |
| Marketing | Only if we run campaigns; set only with your consent via the cookie banner. | Yes. |
3 · Managing cookies
- Use the site’s cookie banner to accept or refuse non-essential categories.
- Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — see your browser’s privacy settings.
- Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and login; that’s the trade-off.
4 · Third-party cookies
Payment processors and analytics providers may set their own cookies during checkout or measurement. Those are governed by their policies; we choose providers with sane ones.
5 · Changes
If our cookie usage changes, this page changes with it. For anything unclear, write to support@clinicapedia.com.
