Sixteen hours on lasers, energy devices and injectables — safety, resurfacing, skin of color, scars and complications
Clinical Realities in Laser & Aesthetic Skin Therapy 2025 records a two-day meeting whose faculty includes R. Rox Anderson, Mathew M. Avram, H. Ray Jalian, Nowell Solish, Suzanne L. Kilmer, Jean D. Carruthers, Andrew F. Alexis and Dieter Manstein. Twelve modules and 16 hours move from device-skin interaction and laser safety through rosacea, pigment, melasma, resurfacing, scars and acne to skin of color, hair restoration, body tightening, a filler and toxin workshop and emerging technology.

What you’ll be able to do
- Apply laser safety routines that protect both patient and operator
- Choose devices and endpoints for rosacea, telangiectasia, tattoos, pigment and melasma
- Combine ablative and non-ablative fractional resurfacing, and recognise when not to treat
- Adapt energy-based treatment for skin of color and dyschromia in Asian patients
- Plan filler and toxin treatment with a clear view of complications and their management
- Weigh newer options such as exosomes, fractional drug delivery and GLP-1-related laxity care
Inside the course
Day one: basics and rejuvenation
A four-hour opening block covers energy-based device physics, Safety 101, tattoo removal, photoaging, rhytides and tightening devices. Avram, Kilmer, Biesman and Jalian then debate fractional versus ablative resurfacing and periorbital work.
Medical lasers and special populations
Sessions on scar treatment, haemangiomas and port-wine stains, acne devices, drug delivery, skin of color, xanthelasma and vascular birthmarks, then an open question hour on lasers versus injectables.
Day two: skin health and practice
Cosmeceuticals, exosomes, nutrition, skin cancer prevention with lasers and hair restoration, followed by body contouring, anaesthesia for aesthetic procedures and aftercare.
Injectables and the frontier
Solish, Carruthers and Fitzgerald run a nearly two-hour workshop with upper face, lower face and PLLA pan-facial demonstrations; later talks cover aesthetic dogmas, practice-changing papers, complications and a Wellman 50th anniversary showcase.

Before you buy
How much of the running time is discussion rather than lectures?
Twelve of the files are question-and-discussion segments, and Module 6 is an open “ask me anything” session, so expect a conference rhythm rather than a scripted course.
Does the lesson count add up?
The course is sold as 56 lessons, but the module lists name 57 items; nothing appears to be missing.
Is there a shorter laser-only option?
Yes. The ASLMS fundamentals and laser safety course in this catalogue is about seven hours and shares several speakers, though it leaves out injectables and body contouring.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
