Inside Tonnard and Verpaele’s Ghent deep plane workshop — lectures, peels and live facial surgery over 22 hours
Demystifying Deep Plane Face Lift 2024 is the recording of a Boutique Aesthetic Surgery Workshop held by Drs. Patrick Tonnard and Alexis Verpaele in Ghent, Belgium, on 18 April 2024. Five long parts, 22 h 47 min in total, move from a day of lectures on deep plane lifting, plication, liposuction, brow and lip lifts, fat and nanofat grafting and chemical peels into live operations on the face, eyelids and neck.

What you’ll be able to do
- Compare deep plane lifting with plication and decide which patient suits which
- Address superficial and deep layers together, including neck liposuction
- Place fat grafting and nanofat within a facial rejuvenation plan
- Understand where brow lifts, lip lifts and chemical peels complement the lift
- Follow live blepharoplasty, neck lift, chin augmentation and gland work with its anatomical landmarks
Inside the course
Lecture day (parts 1–3, about 10 h)
The first part weighs the major face and neck techniques against each other and stresses layered anatomy. The second turns to brow and lip lifts, fat grafting and regenerative approaches with before-and-after images, and a short third part explains peel types, application and risks.
Operating sessions (parts 4–5, about 12.5 h)
The faculty operate and discuss as they go: blepharoplasty, fat grafting and neck lifting in part 4, then neck lifts, chin augmentation and gland removal, closure and suturing, and aftercare advice in part 5. Complication avoidance comes up throughout.
The workshop format
These are small-group, boutique sessions, so much of the teaching comes through informal questions and commentary rather than polished slide decks.

Before you buy
Is the material split into short topic videos?
No. You get five long files of up to six and a half hours each, named only by part number, so finding a specific topic means scrubbing through the recording.
Can I rely on it alone to start doing deep plane facelifts?
No. It shows one team’s approach and does not replace hands-on supervised training in facial surgery.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
