Full-arch implant bridges that look like natural teeth — Martin Wanendeya’s FP-1 workflow without routine bone reduction
In FP1 – Full Arch Rehabilitation: Step-by-Step Procedure, UK implant dentist Martin Wanendeya shows how he plans and delivers FP-1 prostheses — fixed full-arch restorations that replace only the crowns, preserving bone and soft tissue instead of reducing the ridge for an FP-3 bridge. Five lectures totalling 3 h 52 min, illustrated with clinical clips, follow the case from photography and CBCT to stackable guides, same-day provisionals, the final restoration and complications.

What you’ll be able to do
- Explain the FP-1, FP-2 and FP-3 classes and when each suits a full-arch patient
- Merge photos, intraoral and face scans, CBCT and a digital wax-up into one 3D plan
- Place implants and deliver an immediate provisional through a stack guide
- Manage sockets with biomaterials and a free gingival graft around the bridge
- Transfer the provisional to a final restoration using a “Digilog” scan-and-verify workflow
Inside the course
Why FP-1
The introduction lays out the surgical, restorative and psychological challenges of full-arch care, a classification of treatments, preservation versus reconstruction of tissues, and the case for a digitally guided route.
Planning in depth
At 1 h 41 min the diagnosis lecture is the core of the course: clinical photography, scanning, 3D model creation, biological risk factors, ideal implant position and pontic shape, and how guide types and materials are chosen.
Surgery, provisional and final
A recorded case shows extraction, pin placement and implant insertion through the stack guide, laboratory conversion and fitting of the FP-1 provisional, and contouring for soft tissue. The next lecture covers scanning the provisional and scan bodies, verification jigs, framework fit, materials, bonding and cleaning agents.
What goes wrong
A short closing lecture reviews complications traced to patient selection, implant position and abutment or guide choice, as well as seating errors and fractures.
Built for
- Implant dentists starting full archesA standardised sequence rather than a collection of isolated tips.
- ProsthodontistsA tissue-sparing alternative to the conventional hybrid denture.
- Clinicians adopting guided surgeryShows how stack guides link the digital plan to the day of surgery.

Before you buy
Is FP-1 suitable for heavily resorbed jaws?
The course focuses on preserving tissue in suitable cases; for major atrophy it discusses grafting or prosthetic replacement of tissue rather than presenting FP-1 as universal.
How much time goes to complications?
Only about 12 minutes, so treat that section as an overview.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
