Harvard Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy: Neglected Clinical Complexities 2026 — the hard cases in PAP
Harvard Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy: Neglected Clinical Complexities 2026 is the fifth annual clinical meeting on PAP, developed by Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals and run by Cambridge Health Alliance on 26–27 February 2026. Rather than restating the hype, it concentrates on what trips clinicians up: set and setting, somatic and spiritual experiences, ego dissolution, adverse sessions and team working. Videos and PDFs are included.

Day 1 — foundations and outcomes
A back-to-basics review of PAP method and medicines, the clinical results so far, overlooked aspects of set and setting, bodily experiences in session, and religious and spiritual framings.
Day 2 — Harvard Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy complexities
Western versus Indigenous approaches, ego-dissolution case studies, managing difficult trips, psychedelic-boosted behavioural therapy for OCD and multidisciplinary collaboration.
