Recorded from Harvard Medical School’s live online week of 27 April to 1 May 2026, Harvard Pulmonary And Critical Care Medicine 2026 delivers 63 video sessions and 54 PDF slide sets taught by Harvard faculty. Blocks run from breaking pulmonary news and cystic fibrosis through ILD, ventilation, sepsis, ICU neurology, interventional bronchoscopy, infection and pulmonary vascular disease, ending with a sleep medicine panel.
- 63video sessions
- 54PDF slide sets
- 10faculty Q&A panels
- 2026course
What you’ll be able to do
- Decide when and how to start the newest IPF and CTD-ILD drugs
- Guide fluid responsiveness, vasopressor choice and empiric antibiotics in septic shock
- Match noninvasive support and novel ventilator modes to acute respiratory failure
- Refer for valves, coils and interventional bronchoscopy in COPD and pleural disease
- Categorise and treat pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism with 2026 evidence
- Order and interpret sleep diagnostics for obstructive and central apnoea
Inside the course
Airway disease, transplant and ILD
Early sessions cover CFTR modulators, non-CF bronchiectasis, lung allocation and transplant referral, and exercise testing, followed by ILD pathology, chest radiology patterns, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, sarcoidosis and IPF.
Harvard Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the bedside
ICU blocks move from sedation, mobility and ARDS lung protection to post-ICU syndrome, sepsis history, fluids, pressors, the immunocompromised patient and renal replacement timing, then to neuro-prognostication, acute pancreatitis, mechanical cardiac support and haemorrhage.
Procedures, cancer and infection
Pleural updates, interventional pulmonology, NSCLC chemo-, targeted and immunotherapy, COPD 2026, aspergillus, pulmonary nodules, tuberculosis and NTM make up the outpatient-heavy middle of the week.
Clots, vessels and sleep
Anticoagulant pharmacology, PE, PH evaluation and management, ANCA vasculitis, and a closing sleep block on OSA, central apnoea, diagnostics and NIV finish the programme; every block ends with a speaker panel.
