107 hours of preservation, structured and hybrid rhinoplasty teaching — Fernando Nakamura’s 2024 mentoring series with dozens of guest masters
Perface Academy 2024: Advanced HRAM Evolution Series is Fernando Nakamura’s online rhinoplasty mentoring programme: 71 lessons in eight modules totalling about 107 hours. Alongside Nakamura, it brings in talks and masterclasses from surgeons such as Nazim Çerkes, Dean Toriumi, Baris Çakir, Valerio Finocchi, Aaron Kosins, Yves Saban, Olivier Gerbault, Enrico Robotti, Sam P. Most, Frederick Menick and Mark B. Constantian, ranging from nasal physiology and patient psychology to piezo surgery, tip plasty, reconstruction and case documentation.

What you’ll be able to do
- Explain why and when to choose preservation rhinoplasty, and how to combine it with structural grafting
- Compare dorsal methods such as Ishida, Spare Roof, SPQR, SPAR and push-down with bone cap preservation
- Plan ultrasonic piezo osteotomies, including fishbone patterns
- Refine the tip with tipplasty steps, AARG and autologous membrane camouflage
- Approach secondary and reconstructive noses, infection, genioplasty and high radix cases
- Screen for body dysmorphic disorder and document cases with consistent photos and video edits
Inside the course
Foundations and physiology
Module 1, over 15 hours, argues the case for preservation surgery, traces its history from Joseph onward, and gives unusual weight to function: nasal obstruction, physiology masterclasses, the immune aspects of the nose, lights and shadows, and cephalometric dorsal aesthetics.
Dorsal techniques, tip and piezo
The 21-hour second module compares preservation, structured and hybrid philosophies through step-by-step techniques and article discussions, including Latin nose cases and septocaudal replacement. Shorter modules follow on tipplasty (about 3 hours) and piezo surgery (about 5 hours) with Gerbault and Lessandro Martins.
Reconstruction and journal club
Menick on nasal reconstruction, Most on the functional and reconstructive spectrum, José Carlos Neves on avoiding stigmata, genioplasty, grafts in secondary surgery and nasal infection fill module 5. Module 6 turns scientific papers and members’ cases into discussion, from dissection planes to non-surgical rhinoplasty.
Expert streams and presentation skills
Almost 40 hours of recorded live talks, Q&A sessions and a world summit make up module 7. The programme closes with Juan Tomasino’s workflow for photographing, measuring and editing rhinoplasty cases into clear visual stories.

Before you buy
Is everything taught in English?
Most of it, but not all. At least six lessons carry Spanish titles (cephalometry, universal rhinoplasty in 15 steps, septocaudal replacement, two hybrid Latin nose talks and the Rinocontour masterclass), and one immune-system class is a Portuguese lesson marked as subtitled; other live sessions with Latin American guests may also be in Spanish.
Is this mainly operative footage?
No. It is largely lectures, live talks, article discussions and case reviews; if you want complete filmed operations, Nakamura’s Rhino de A-Z or HARM 2.0 courses and Robotti’s masterclass are more surgery-heavy.
Are all lessons clearly titled?
Several module 7 entries give only a name or a single word, such as Legacy, World Summit or Masterclass Helena, so the topic is not clear until you watch.
Does it overlap with other Perface products?
It comes from the same academy as Academia Perface Rhino de A-Z 2024 and Perface Academy HARM 2.0 2023; the content is different in format, but the teaching philosophy is shared.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
