Brigham Endocrinology Board Review 2025 — 59 lectures with a boards case session for each organ system
The Brigham Board Review and Comprehensive Update in Endocrinology 2025 gives you 59 lectures by 40 Brigham and Women’s Hospital faculty, released on 1 May 2025 as videos with slide PDFs. Course director Ole-Petter Hamnvik introduces a programme that gives diabetes the depth it deserves, then works through obesity and lipids, thyroid, bone, pituitary, adrenal and reproductive endocrinology, closing almost every block with a case session written for the boards.

- Manage inpatient hyperglycaemia and hyperglycaemic crises, including the handover to outpatient care
- Evaluate thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer, from first approach to advanced disease
- Investigate hypercalcaemia, low bone density and dysnatraemia step by step
- Diagnose Cushing’s syndrome, adrenal tumours and phaeochromocytoma
- Treat obesity, PCOS, menopause and male hypogonadism with current options
Inside the course
Diabetes in three stages
Screening, prevention and type 1 disease come first. The management block runs from behaviour change and oral agents through incretins, SGLT-2 inhibitors, insulin, glycaemic assessment, hospital care and pregnancy, and a complications block covers cardiovascular risk, nephropathy, eyes, nerves and feet.
Weight, lipids and the thyroid
Lifestyle and drug treatment of obesity sit beside a bariatric outcomes talk, dyslipidaemia and steatotic liver disease. Seven thyroid sessions address under- and overactivity, nodules, pregnancy and both early and advanced cancer.
Brigham Endocrinology Board Review: bone, pituitary and adrenal
Osteoporosis, calcium disorders and metabolic bone disease precede pituitary insufficiency, masses, prolactin and growth hormone excess. The adrenal block adds insufficiency, Cushing’s, primary and endocrine hypertension, adrenal cancer and paraganglioma.
Reproduction and special topics
Menstrual irregularity, contraception, infertility, testosterone deficiency and erectile dysfunction are taught together, followed by gender-affirming hormone therapy, non-diabetic hypoglycaemia and endocrine disease in pregnancy.
