The CASTED Course: an emergency orthopaedic masterclass — examine, reduce and splint every major limb joint
The CASTED Course, an emergency orthopaedic masterclass, teaches the limb injuries that walk into an emergency department and the hands-on skills they need. Twelve lectures cover principles and each region from hand to hip, and multi-camera tutorials show wrist, elbow, shoulder, ankle and knee examinations, reductions for the wrist, shoulder, ankle and hip, and how to build common splints. The emphasis throughout is on injuries that are easy to miss.
