The Osler Anatomic Pathology 2026 review — 29 topics and roughly 44 hours of AP exam preparation
The Osler Anatomic Pathology 2026 Subscription-Based Review is the anatomic half of the Osler Institute’s April 2026 virtual pathology course, released on 10 June 2026 with subtitles and a downloadable syllabus. Eighteen faculty take you through 29 topics, about 44 hours of study, from pancreas and skin to neuropathology, cytology, lymph nodes and cytogenetics. Review questions are embedded in the lectures, and the content is mapped to what the AP primary and continuing exams actually test.

What you’ll be able to do
- Recognise benign and malignant histopathology across every organ system on the AP outline
- Use evidence-based tools to narrow differential diagnoses in common scenarios
- Follow CAP and ASCP practice guidelines in daily sign-out
- Integrate molecular and cytogenetic results into morphologic diagnoses
- Perform and interpret fine-needle aspiration while avoiding frequent pitfalls
Inside the review
Organ-system surgical pathology
Breast, cardiac, renal, pulmonary, genitourinary, paediatric, gastrointestinal, liver and gallbladder, head and neck, bone and soft tissue are each handled by a dedicated lecturer.
Skin, brain and forensic work
Neoplastic and non-neoplastic dermatopathology, neuropathology, forensic pathology, inflammation and repair, and electron microscopy fill the remaining AP territory.
Cytopathology in four parts
Anwar S. Raza moves from cytology principles to gynaecologic specimens and two sessions of non-gynaecologic cytology, the area many candidates find hardest to revise alone.
Where the Osler Anatomic Pathology 2026 review meets the lab
Laboratory management, lymph node, red and white cell morphology, platelets and coagulation, molecular pathology and cytogenetics round off the exam-relevant material.
