Twelve signature techniques from international plastic surgeons — breast reduction, augmentation, reconstruction and body contouring
Visual Encyclopedia of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery brings together 12 recorded presentations with surgical footage, 7 h 40 min in total, from ten named surgeons: Ivo Pitanguy, Ruth Graf, Roger Khouri, Peter Fodor, Thomas Wiener, Susumu Takayanagi, Bouraoui Kotti, Jose Luis Martin del Yerro, Bertrand Lacotte and Jean-François Pascal. Each speaker shows how they choose, mark and perform their preferred operation and what results they get, with the weight firmly on breast surgery, plus liposuction, post-weight-loss trunk contouring and one short neck procedure.

What you’ll be able to do
- Apply a single vertical breast reduction strategy (MVTL) and know where it does not fit
- Match implant size and pocket to body type using measurement systems from three schools
- Compare inframammary, transaxillary and high-volume augmentation approaches
- Follow a TRAM flap harvest, abdominal wall repair and breast shaping
- Plan large-volume fat transfer to the breast and prepare the recipient site
- Mark and close a lateral trunk lift with abdominoplasty after massive weight loss
Inside the course
Breast reduction and lift
Lacotte presents his MVTL vertical method, stressing vascularity, avoiding sutures in fat and excluding cases such as synmastia. Ruth Graf adds a vertical approach with a chest wall flap and pectoral loop to fill the upper pole, supported by long-term mammographic follow-up.
Augmentation from several angles
Martin del Yerro links body-type classification to implant choice, Graf demonstrates the transaxillary route for patients who want no visible breast scar, Takayanagi explains why he favours round implants for Asian patients through an inframammary incision, and Wiener covers the particular demands of large implants.
Reconstruction and fat
Kotti takes the TRAM flap step by step, from pedicle protection to abdominal closure, while Khouri contrasts implants with fat grafting and outlines a streamlined harvest, processing and injection protocol.
Body, neck and a surgical life
Pascal reshapes the trunk after major weight loss, Fodor traces liposuction from its origins to tumescent, ultrasound and power-assisted methods with safety protocols, a 14-minute clip refines the platysma, and Pitanguy reflects on his career and breast surgery philosophy.

Before you buy
Does it really cover the whole of aesthetic surgery?
No. Despite the encyclopedia title and a promised range including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, threads and injectables, the 12 lessons are mostly breast surgery; the only facial content is a 14-minute neck and platysma clip, and there are no non-surgical lessons.
Is the facelift lesson a full facelift?
Its title suggests so, but the content concentrates on platysma and neck contouring, and no presenter is named for it.
How current is the material?
No recording dates are given, and some talks, such as Pitanguy’s, are clearly older, so treat it as a classic reference rather than a 2025 update.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
