PathologyCourse recording2026
2026 Current Challenges in Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology — from placenta to vulva in twelve lectures
2026 Current Challenges in Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology walks through the whole female genital tract and the placenta, with the 2025 WHO classification changes and current biomarker testing woven through every talk. Twelve nautically titled lectures — a sailing guide to the placenta, a compass for the lower genital tract — move from endometrial molecular subtyping and ovarian frozen sections to smooth muscle tumours and vulvar rashes. You get 12 videos and the PDF e-syllabus, 7.56 GB in total.

What you’ll be able to do
- Flag placental findings that predict complications, recurrence or need urgent action
- Apply the main revisions in the 2025 WHO female genital tumour classification
- Use molecular and immunohistochemical tests to classify gynaecological cancers and guide therapy
- Sort high-grade endometrial and ovarian carcinomas into types that change prognosis
- Separate uterine mesenchymal tumours with malignant potential from benign look-alikes
- Build a routine for lower genital tract squamous, glandular and non-epithelial lesions
Inside the course
Placenta and endometrium
The opening lecture covers clinically meaningful placental pathology; three talks then deal with molecular classification of endometrial cancer, high-grade endometrial carcinoma and the biomarker panel that now accompanies most gynaecological cancers.
Ovary, including the frozen section room
A simplified framework for ovarian epithelial tumours is followed by a practical session on intraoperative diagnosis of ovarian masses, where speed and caution must coexist.
Uterine mesenchymal neoplasia in two parts
A “smooth” lecture handles the straightforward leiomyoma-type tumours, and a “non-smooth” sequel tackles the ambiguous and malignant mesenchymal lesions.
Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology of the lower tract
Four closing talks cover squamous lesions, warts, plaques and rashes, endocervical glandular lesions, and melanocytic and mesenchymal disease of the cervix, vagina and vulva.

Who are the lecturers in this gynae and obstetric course?
Speaker names are not provided; the course is organised by Educational Symposia and only the lecture titles are listed.
Is this for obstetricians or pathologists?
It is written for pathologists; clinicians may find the placental and biomarker talks useful, but the teaching is morphology-led.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
