The Osler Pathology Virtual Review Spring 2026 — 64 lectures spanning the AP and CP boards
Recorded over seven days in April 2026, The Osler Pathology Virtual Review Spring April 11-17, 2026 packs the whole of anatomic and clinical pathology into 64 videos with matching subtitle files and 8 PDF syllabi (41.8 GB). The week opens with surgical and cytopathology, crosses over on Tuesday, then turns to chemistry, transfusion, haematology, immunology and microbiology. Topics close with review questions, which makes the set equally useful for a first sitting of the AP/CP exams and for a mid-career knowledge check.

What you’ll be able to do
- Build tighter differential diagnoses across surgical, cyto- and dermatopathology
- Apply CAP and ASCP guidance to daily laboratory decisions
- Read test-result patterns and pick the next assay that clarifies aetiology
- Advise clinicians on transfusion indications and reactions
- Bring molecular and cytogenetic testing into routine work-ups
- Perform fine-needle aspiration with fewer technical errors
Inside the review
Anatomic pathology, organ by organ
Saturday to Tuesday runs through pancreas, skin, forensic, breast, heart, kidney, brain, gynaecologic, endocrine, lung, GU, paediatric, GI, liver, head and neck, bone and soft tissue, plus four cytopathology blocks and electron microscopy.
Clinical pathology for the boards
From Tuesday onward the focus shifts to specimen safety, immunoassays and toxicology, statistics and QC, lipids, enzymes, acid–base, coagulation, six blood bank lectures, flow cytometry and immunology.
Microbiology and haematology blocks
Mycology, mycobacteria, parasites, viruses, bacteria and susceptibility testing sit next to lymph node, red cell and white cell lectures, so the heaviest CP content gets real depth.
The Osler Pathology Virtual Review Spring format
Didactic talks end with board-style questions, and the e-syllabus concentrates on blood bank and clinical chemistry, the two areas where written notes help most.
Built for
- Senior pathology residentsA complete AP/CP sweep in the months before the primary exam.
- Practising pathologistsA structured way to revisit areas you rarely sign out before your next recertification exam.
- Laboratory directorsManagement, QC and instrumentation lectures sit alongside the diagnostic content.
