Fernando Nakamura’s rhinoplasty programme in Portuguese — five filmed operations, live sessions and 17 theory classes
Academia Perface Rhino de A-Z 2024 is a Portuguese-language rhinoplasty course by Fernando Nakamura: roughly half is taught in Portuguese and the other half is English with Portuguese subtitles. Across 79 lessons and about 31 h 33 min it covers conservative, structured, hybrid and secondary rhinoplasty, from nasal analysis and surgical sequence to rib cartilage grafting, piezo work, CT reading and complications, as well as the practice side of running a rhinoplasty clinic.

What you’ll be able to do
- Analyse the nose and decide the operative sequence before the first incision
- Follow septum, dorsum and osteotomy steps, including caudal septum repositioning and roof fixation
- Harvest rib cartilage and abdominal fascia and prepare spreader grafts, spreader flaps and diced cartilage
- Refine the tip with lateral crural strut and composite ear grafts, footplate sutures and base reduction
- Plan secondary rhinoplasty and read a CT scan for what matters surgically
- Handle difficult patients and set up standardised photography in your practice
Inside the course
Five operations broken into steps
Modules 1 to 5 each follow one surgery, split into short chapters from analysis and incision to final suture. Cases range from a primary nose with septal work, PRF and base reduction, to two rib-graft reconstructions with fascia, double septal extension and dorsal rebuilding, and a case with an ear composite graft and fat grafting.
Live sessions
Almost nine hours of recorded lives include sessions from February, March and April, osteotomies and dorsal preservation performed without piezo, and a live on secondary rhinoplasty.
The A to Z classes
The longest module, over 15 hours, holds Nakamura’s structured theory: nasal evaluation, sequencing, clean surgery, a plastic surgeon’s routine, lights and shadows, osteotomies, puzzle tip and inverse rhinoplasty, decision steps in revision cases, avoiding complications and CT scan analysis.

Before you buy
Which language will I actually hear?
Portuguese for about half of the material; the other half is spoken in English with Portuguese subtitles. Many lesson titles are written in Spanish, and there is no English-only version of this product.
Are all lessons clearly labelled?
No. Several surgical chapters, six A to Z classes and one live recording carry only a number or a file name, so you will need to open them to see the topic.
Does it overlap with other Nakamura courses in the catalogue?
Partly. Perface Academy HARM 2.0 2023 and the Perface Academy 2024 HRAM series come from the same academy, and HARM 2.0 reuses step names like those in the fifth operation here, so compare curricula before buying more than one.
Will it make me ready to operate independently?
No video course can do that; it complements supervised rhinoplasty training rather than replacing it.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
