ARRS Critical Care and ICU Imaging 2024 — chest, abdomen and brain imaging for the sickest patients
Recorded at the ARRS meeting on 5–7 May 2024, ARRS Critical Care and ICU Imaging 2024 teaches what radiologists must recognise quickly in intensive care. Cardiothoracic sessions cover life-support devices, pulmonary oedema, ARDS, TACO and TRALI, atelectasis, pneumonia, pleural disease, thoracic POCUS, barotrauma, PE and acute cardiac disease. Abdominal sessions tackle the acute abdomen, haemorrhage, abdominal compartment syndrome, obstruction, perforation, shock bowel, aortic catastrophes, biliary sepsis and transplant complications; the neuro block addresses infection, altered mental status, stroke alerts, raised ICP, ICU seizures, brain death and aneurysm rupture.
