Digital TRAINING from Dermoscopy Excellence puts two of dermoscopy’s best-known teachers in front of a studio camera: Prof. Aimilios Lallas, president of the International Dermoscopy Society, and his predecessor Prof. Giuseppe Argenziano. Inside the course
Foundations and skin tumours
Modules 1 to 4 begin with instruments and light modes, then build a vocabulary of structures before moving through naevi, melanoma, keratinocyte cancers and common benign growths.
Special sites and tricky lesions
Modules 5 to 7 cover facial, scalp, mucosal, acral and nail lesions, followed by practical rules for spitzoid and amelanotic lesions that often defeat pattern recognition.
Monitoring and general dermatology
Module 8 explains monitoring devices and long-term follow-up of high-naevus-count patients; Modules 9 and 10 take the dermoscope to inflammatory disease of trunk and face, infections and hair.
The Dermoscopy Excellence teaching style
