All-ceramic restorations chair to lab — inlays, onlays, veneers and crowns in feldspathic, lithium disilicate and zirconia
Italian prosthodontists Fabio Scutella, Giuseppe Marchetti and Roberto Sorrentino join Dutch master technician Eric van der Winden in Esthetic Ceramic Restorations: Workflow for Veneers to Crowns. Five lessons totalling 8 h 12 min cover clinical and laboratory steps for metal-free work on anterior and posterior teeth and on implants, combining CAD/CAM with hand layering and comparing vertical and horizontal preparation.

What you’ll be able to do
- Carry a posterior inlay, onlay or crown from isolation and build-up to bonding and polishing
- Prepare anterior teeth for veneers with silicone guides and correct minimum thickness
- Match feldspathic, lithium disilicate, resin-matrix and zirconia materials to the indication
- Prevent chipping of veneered ceramics and repair it when it happens
- Apply vertical preparation with gingitage and a double-cord technique
Inside the course
Posterior and anterior protocols
The first lesson runs through the full indirect sequence for back teeth, cusp coverage indications, inlay survival data and osteoresection. The second focuses on veneers and crowns: planning with digital smile design, wax-up and mock-up, cervical and proximal preparation details, and adhesive cementation.
Where lab meets clinic
A two-hour session on combining CAD/CAM with layering reviews fourteen features of an esthetic smile, cementation failures, wax injection and pressed ceramics, manual polishing, preserving pink esthetics and better communication with the technician.
Materials science and vertical preps
A materials lecture explains glass and polycrystalline ceramics, gradient cubic zirconia, thickness limits, ceramic abutments on implants, fit, fluorescence and choice of luting agent. The final lesson compares finish lines, discusses recession and biologic width, and presents a simplified prosthetic protocol.

Before you buy
Which speaker gives each lesson?
Lessons are not attributed to individual speakers, so the split between the four presenters is not known in advance.
Is implant prosthetics covered?
Only partly — ceramic abutments and restorations on implants appear within the materials lesson rather than as a separate topic.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
