An online residency in fixed prosthodontics — 30 lessons from planning to cementation
Structured like a residency, the gIDEdental Online Residency Program in Fixed Prosthodontics guides you through twelve modules and thirty lessons across more than twenty hours. Giacomo Fabbri and Francesco Mintrone cover treatment planning, previsualisation, minimally invasive preparation, provisionals, materials, digital workflows and cementation, closing with recorded live office hours.

What you’ll be able to do
- Run esthetic and functional analysis and set the articulator
- Use the mock-up and previsualisation concept to communicate
- Prepare teeth with a minimally invasive, enamel-preserving approach
- Design and maintain temporary restorations
- Select zirconia or lithium disilicate and cement correctly
Inside the course
Planning and previsualisation
Early modules build treatment planning from esthetic and functional analysis, strategic lab communication and wax-ups, then use the mock-up to preview and agree the result before any preparation.
Preparation, provisionals and integration
Modern minimally invasive preparation, the full-enamel concept and margin placement lead into temporary design, plus complementary periodontal and orthodontic steps for biological integration.
Impressions, digital and materials
Cross-mounting, intraoral scanning and the digital patient concept precede a deep look at bonding, zirconia, lithium disilicate, layered versus monolithic design and cementation.
About the instructors
Fabbri is an AIOP and IAED member trained under Mauro Fradeani; Mintrone is an EAED member and gIDE faculty chairman lecturing on digital and implant prosthodontics.
