Immediate implants, from socket biology to same-visit loading — three university clinicians, five focused sessions
Placing an implant into a fresh socket, and sometimes loading it the same day, rewards precise indications and tissue handling. Immediate Implant Placement and Loading: Surgical Protocols assembles that knowledge from Ignacio Sanz Sanchez, Eduardo Montero and Junying Li across five sessions and about five and a half hours — socket biology, atraumatic extraction, soft-tissue grafting and a fully digital full-arch workflow.

What you’ll be able to do
- Select cases where immediate placement is predictable
- Extract teeth atraumatically and read socket types
- Decide on immediate loading or provisionalisation
- Use connective tissue grafts and GBR for aesthetics and ridge
- Run a fully digital full-arch immediate loading workflow
Inside the course
Why immediate implants work
The first sessions cover socket biology, ridge preservation after extraction and how implant design and gap filling affect the outcome, setting the indications for the approach.
Loading and complications
You weigh immediate loading against provisionalisation, review atraumatic extraction and socket classification, and study the healing factors and bone-graft indications that keep surgical complications in check.
Soft tissue and digital full arch
Later sessions focus on keratinised mucosa augmentation, suturing and connective tissue grafts, closing with a fully digital pathway for full-arch immediate loading.
About the faculty
The instructors teach periodontology and prosthodontics at Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Michigan, with roles in the Osteology Foundation and ETEP research group.

Before you buy
Is loading always immediate?
No. The course covers both immediate and delayed loading and helps you decide which a given case supports.
Does it include a digital component?
Yes. The final session presents a fully digital workflow for full-arch immediate loading.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
