Physiotherapy for TMD in orthodontic patients — an evidence-based, interdisciplinary protocol in 5 lessons
Physiotherapist Tzvika Greenbaum, who works alongside orthodontists on jaw and facial pain, teaches Musculoskeletal physiotherapy techniques in Orthodontics: Evidence-based Approach and Clinical Protocols in five lessons over 4 h 40 min. It separates myth from evidence on occlusion and TMD, then gives diagnostic and manual-therapy protocols for managing joint and muscular disorders during orthodontic treatment.

Inside the course
Foundations and diagnosis
The first lessons review the science of orofacial pain, TMD etiology, occlusion and masticatory anatomy, then teach diagnosis using recognised criteria, subjective and objective findings, and subgrouping of patients.
Myths, reality and posture
Greenbaum examines the historical Costen paradigm against current evidence on malocclusion and TMD, then connects the jaw to the neck through cranio-cervical flexion and flexion-rotation testing.
Evidence-based management
The closing lesson sets out musculoskeletal management during orthodontic care, step-by-step protocols for severe pain, and approaches for discogenic and degenerative cases, illustrated with clinical examples.
About the instructor
Greenbaum holds an MSc and PhD, is a certified cervical and temporomandibular therapist, and founded an academy dedicated to the cranio-cervico-mandibular complex.

Before you buy
Is the instructor a dentist?
No. Greenbaum is a certified physiotherapist who collaborates with orthodontists, so the course is written from an interdisciplinary, musculoskeletal angle.
Does it claim orthodontics causes or cures TMD?
No. A full lesson weighs the evidence and myths on the association rather than promising a simple cause-and-effect link.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
