Immediate implants, peri-implant soft tissue grafting and sinus lifts — three advanced surgical topics in six lessons
Next-Level Implantology and Periodontology-Mastering Immediate Implantation, Peri-implant Soft Tissue Augmentation, Sinus Lifting pairs three areas where implant cases most often succeed or fail. Two lessons each cover atraumatic extraction with immediate placement and provisionalization, soft tissue volume around implants, and maxillary sinus grafting, with case demonstrations and complication management across 3 h 52 min of video, audio and subtitles.

What you’ll be able to do
- Select cases for immediate implant placement using primary stability, infection status, biotype and patient expectations
- Use planning software, guided surgery and in-house 3D printing for custom healing abutments and provisional crowns
- Recognise keratinized mucosa, thickness and recession deficits and choose a connective tissue graft approach or substitute
- Assess residual bone height, septa and sinus pathology on panoramic and CBCT images before grafting
- Prevent and manage membrane perforation, bleeding and postoperative sinus infection
Inside the course
Mastering immediate implantation
Placement timing is classified from immediate to mature, alongside the problems immediate protocols create — ridge remodelling, angulation discrepancies and flap closure. The second lesson adds a digital workflow with CAD/CAM emergence profile design and follows cases to crestal bone and soft tissue stability.
Soft tissue volume around implants
The biology of the peri-implant cuff, threshold values for stability and indications for augmentation come first. Tunnel, apical pouch and envelope CTG techniques are then compared with xenograft and allograft substitutes, ADM and volume-stable collagen matrices, drawing on systematic reviews.
Sinus grafting from diagnosis to follow-up
Sinus anatomy, vascular supply and pathologies such as pseudocysts and chronic rhinosinusitis inform case selection. Lateral window and crestal osteotome techniques follow, with rotary and piezo instrumentation, collagen membranes, medication and radiographic follow-up.
Built for
- Implant surgeonsBrings immediate loading, soft tissue grafting and sinus augmentation together in one short programme.
- PeriodontistsThe peri-implant soft tissue lessons weigh autogenous grafts against collagen substitutes.
- Oral surgeonsSinus anatomy, imaging and complication protocols support safer augmentation.
