Nearly 30 hours of Jay Reznick’s oral surgery cases: impactions, sinus perforations, immediate implants and complications
Board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Jay B. Reznick, director of a surgical centre in Tarzana, California, and an early adopter of CBCT-guided implant placement, recorded the lectures and case videos gathered in Online Oral Surgery Educational Videos. Eleven themed sections hold about 114 clips and PDF materials, running 29 h 51 min, from extraction basics and medical emergencies to third molars, guided implants, infections and pre-prosthetic surgery.

Inside the course
Foundations and lectures
Longer talks introduce surgical instruments, informed consent, medical emergencies, BRONJ and a three-part series on wisdom teeth, plus four implantology lectures on complications, guided surgery, ridge splitting, sinus lifts and immediate versus delayed placement.
Case clips, tooth by tooth
Most of the library consists of short procedural videos identified by tooth number: full and partial bony impactions, ankylosed teeth, split molars, retrieved palatal roots, a mesiodens and orthodontic premolar extractions.
When things go wrong
A dedicated complications section shows sinus perforations, delayed infection, exposed mandibular bone, a “liver clot”, subcutaneous emphysema and mylohyoid ridge sequestration, with the steps taken to resolve each.
Built for
- General dentists doing their own extractionsMany real cases to watch before tackling harder surgical teeth.

Before you buy
Is this a structured course or a video archive?
It is closer to an archive: sections group lectures and case clips by theme rather than forming a step-by-step programme.
Will I see the same video twice?
Yes. Several clips, such as the liver clot, “Oops! Help!”, vertical impaction #17 and guided implant cases, appear in more than one section, so unique content is below the listed count.
Do the tooth numbers follow FDI?
No, cases are labelled with the US universal numbering system (for example #32 is a lower right third molar).
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
