Nate Farley and Kent Howell build an AOX Crystal Ultra hybrid — every clinical and lab step
In AOX Crystal Ultra Hybrid Restoration – ALL Clinical & Lab Steps Start to Finish, Arizona prosthodontists Nate Farley and Kent Howell take one patient from final impression to insertion. Over 11 lessons and under four hours, they alternate chairside and laboratory work to bond a Crystal Ultra nano-ceramic superstructure onto a non-metal Pekkton or Trilor frame.

Inside the course
A material between two worlds
Crystal Ultra is a nano-ceramic that is far stronger than acrylic yet needs a bonded frame to succeed. The course shows how pairing it with Pekkton or Trilor gives strength from the combination of parts.
Clinical and lab in lockstep
Each chairside step is followed by the laboratory work that prepares the next appointment — impression, pour and mount, scan, then CAD of the bar and teeth.
Finishing and delivery
Cleaning and bonding the teeth to the bar, smoothing the transition, adding pink composite, glazing, and a final insertion with bite verification.
About the instructors
Both are board-certified prosthodontists in Mesa, Arizona. Farley trained at Ohio State with a strong digital focus; Howell brings the added prosthodontic training that shapes complex restorative cases.
