Korean implant surgery library — sinus lifts, guided placement, GBR and complication control in 79 lessons
With 79 lessons over almost 28 hours, OSSTEM SURGERY COURSE: Advanced Implantology & Sinus Surgery is a large reference collection from a team of Korean implant clinicians including Son Young Whee, Yin Shik Hur and Chin Gu Kim. Eleven modules cover maxillary sinus anatomy and augmentation, immediate and anterior placement, soft tissue, digital guides, bone grafting, ridge splitting, suturing, peri-implantitis, pharmacology, complications and implant removal.

What you’ll be able to do
- Elevate the sinus floor by lateral window or crestal approach and repair membrane perforations
- Diagnose sinus pathology and infection before augmentation
- Place immediate implants in anterior and posterior sites and rescue poor primary stability
- Select graft materials and membranes for GBR, ridge split and socket preservation
- Handle bleeding, nerve injury, peri-implantitis and MRONJ risk with a clear protocol
Inside the course
The sinus module
At six hours and 16 lessons it is the largest section: anatomy and physiology, lesion diagnosis, infection, fibrin glue repair, and lateral and crestal lifts with osteotomes and dedicated kits, closing with crestal lift complications.
Placement, soft tissue and digital guides
Immediate placement in each region, wide and short implants and implants lost into the sinus lead into free gingival and connective tissue grafts, keratinised mucosa, and a guided-surgery workflow from template merging to 3D printing.
Bone, sutures and biology
Defect classification, graft material choice, autogenous bone, membranes and ridge splitting are followed by incision design and suturing methods for augmentation surgery.
Risk management
Closing modules address peri-implantitis with surgical and non-surgical therapy, antibiotics, NSAIDs and adverse reactions, bleeding, bruising and nerve damage, and the techniques for removing a failed implant.
Built for
- Implantologists adding sinus workA long, dedicated block on both lift approaches and their complications.
- Osstem system usersSeveral lessons show that manufacturer’s kits and guide system in use.
- Surgeons wanting a broad refresherPharmacology and complication lessons sit alongside the techniques.

Before you buy
Is the course tied to one implant brand?
Partly. Lessons on the LAS, CAS, OneGuide, OneMS and IM-Cure kits are specific to Osstem instruments, while the biology and technique lessons apply generally.
Who exactly teaches each lesson?
A group of Korean clinicians shares the teaching, but the videos are not credited to individual speakers.
Why does the curriculum show fewer than 79 titles?
The course is advertised at 79 lessons, but the module lists name 76; the remaining three are not identified.
Does the order of lessons follow a single case?
No — it is organised by topic, and a few themes such as immediate placement and aesthetic implants appear as more than one lecture.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
