Twelve periodontal courses in one library — from scaling protocols to papilla regeneration and prosthetic tissue design
Periodontology: Complex Tissue Therapy gathers 12 complete courses, about 200 lessons and roughly 155 hours of teaching, into a single periodontal library. Nineteen clinicians contribute, among them Giovanni Zucchelli, Giulio Rasperini, Leonardo Trombelli, Richard Miron, Frank Spear and Gianluca Paniz. The range runs from classification and non-surgical therapy through mucogingival, regenerative and resective surgery to the prosthetic handling of soft tissue around teeth and implants.

What you’ll be able to do
- Stage and grade periodontitis with the current classification and pick a matching protocol, including host modulation
- Cover single and multiple recessions with envelope, L-incision, single-incision and VISTA tunnel approaches
- Treat deep infrabony defects with the Single Flap Approach and choose membranes, enamel matrix derivative or grafts
- Rebuild papillae and interproximal attachment and manage furcations by regeneration, premolarisation or root resection
- Use PRF in periodontal regeneration, bone grafting, sinus work and wound healing
- Shape emergence profiles, abutments and ovate pontics so the prosthesis supports stable gingiva
Inside the course
Diagnosis and non-surgical care
Elena Calciolari walks through the new classification, the development of gingivitis, periodontitis and peri-implantitis, instrument choice and supportive therapy. A separate course sets out evidence-based treatment of stages I–III, with omega-3, low-dose doxycycline, statins, probiotics and other host modulators, and a section on aggressive forms.
Surgery from flap design to suturing
Daniel Melker covers full- and split-thickness flaps, exostosis removal, guided gingivectomy, gummy smile, frenectomy, altered passive eruption and palatal, tuberosity and lingual grafts. Zucchelli’s 59-hour soft tissue course and a general-dentist programme on recession and crown lengthening add depth, while Zucchelli and Stefanini analyse why mucogingival and peri-implant procedures fail and how to prevent it.
Regeneration as the default
Rasperini and Kazarian argue for moving from resective to regenerative therapy: 3D tunnelling, microsurgery, papilla regrowth, black triangles and combined bone and soft tissue gain. Trombelli’s Single Flap Approach lecture shows how raising one flap simplifies access for most deep intrabony defects, and Miron brings the biology of platelet-rich fibrin.
Where prosthetics meets gingiva
Paniz explains margin placement, abutment and pontic design, and staged mock-ups and provisionals for tissue conditioning on teeth and implants. A Spear module then focuses on ridge preservation, ovate pontics and papilla management in the anterior smile zone.

Before you buy
Are the individual lessons listed?
Only the twelve course titles and their running times are given here; the roughly 200 individual lesson titles are not itemised.
Will this overlap with courses I already own?
Quite possibly. The twelve are complete standalone courses, so compare the titles with your existing library before buying.
Is it all one teaching style?
No. The courses come from different instructors and schools, so format, pace and production quality vary from course to course.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
