Brigham and Dana-Farber Board Review in Oncology 2025 — solid tumours and blood cancers from Boston’s specialists
The Brigham and Dana-Farber Board Review and Comprehensive Update in Oncology 2025 gathers 45 recorded lectures from 39 Brigham and Women’s and Dana-Farber faculty, released on 15 March 2025 with slides alongside the videos. It opens with cancer genetics, infection, pain and end-of-life communication, runs through the leukaemias, myeloma and lymphomas, and then spends most of its time on solid tumours — thoracic, GI, genitourinary, gynaecologic, skin, sarcoma, brain and breast.

What you’ll be able to do
- Stage and sequence treatment for early and metastatic non-small cell lung cancer
- Choose therapy across localised and disseminated prostate cancer, urothelial and renal tumours
- Plan multimodality care for early breast cancer and manage metastatic disease and survivorship
- Approach oesophageal, gastric, pancreatic, hepatobiliary and colorectal cancers with current evidence
- Recognise infection, pain and communication problems that complicate cancer care
Inside the course
Foundations and supportive care
Marios Giannakis starts with the molecular genetics of cancer, followed by Lindsey Baden on infections, Kate Lally on opioid prescribing and Eilann Santo on end-of-life conversations — the cross-cutting material that board questions love.
Haematologic malignancy block
Transplant biology, acute leukaemia and MDS, CML, myeloproliferative disorders, myeloma (Kenneth Anderson), Waldenström and amyloidosis, the indolent and aggressive lymphomas, Hodgkin lymphoma and CLL give a compact malignant-haematology review within an oncology course.
Brigham and Dana-Farber Board Review in Oncology: solid tumours
Head and neck and thyroid, small cell and staged non-small cell lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymic tumours, neuroendocrine tumours and six GI talks lead into GU cancers, melanoma, sarcoma and GIST, ovarian, cervical and endometrial cancer and neuro-oncology.
Breast cancer from risk to survivorship
Judy Garber covers genetics and prevention, Harold Burstein splits early-stage therapy into surgery-and-radiation and systemic parts, Adrienne Waks handles metastatic disease and Ann Partridge closes on survivorship.
Built for
- Haematology-oncology fellowsA disease-by-disease sweep ahead of the ABIM medical oncology exam.
- Practising medical oncologistsRefresh tumour types you see less often in a busy clinic.
- Oncology nurse practitioners and PAsClear, single-speaker talks on each major cancer.

How does it overlap with the Brigham hematology 2025 review?
The first 17 lectures here — genetics, supportive care and the malignant haematology talks — are the same recordings found in the 2025 Brigham and Dana-Farber hematology board review (MS-22115). The other 28 solid-tumour lectures are unique to this oncology edition.
Is there a question bank?
No. The package is lecture videos with their slides; no practice questions are listed.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
