Chris Chang’s case-driven webinars: TADs, Damon mechanics and aligners across 21 recorded sessions
Founder of Beethoven Orthodontic Center in Taiwan, Chris Chang teaches the Advanced Orthodontics Training Program as 21 webinars grouped into seven modules, about 34 hours of clinical case demonstration and Q&A. Topics range from asymmetry, deep bite and gummy smile to Class II and III correction, impactions, open bite, early treatment, extraction variations and aligner planning with and without miniscrews.

What you’ll be able to do
- Correct deep bite, gummy smile and asymmetry using screw-assisted mechanics
- Decide extraction versus non-extraction and apply a dozen extraction patterns
- Combine self-ligating Damon brackets with TADs for difficult cases
- Plan aligner treatment, including pre-aligner preparation and TAD support
- Treat Class II, Class III and anterior open bite without surgery where possible
- Manage impactions, anterior crossbite and early treatment cases
Inside the course
Classic problems, modern anchorage
The first three modules tackle asymmetry, deep bite, gummy smile, Class II, the extraction decision, six variants of anterior crossbite, self-ligation with TADs, impacted teeth and adult interdisciplinary cases.
Aligners in Chang’s hands
Module 4 is devoted to getting ready for aligners and learning their mechanics on complex cases, and later sessions add aligners with miniscrews and a three-step planning method.
Skeletal discrepancies and extractions
Remaining webinars cover Class III, non-surgical open bite closure, early treatment, two parts on Damon mechanics with TADs and a two-part “theme and 12 variations” on extraction therapy.

Built for
- Orthodontists adding miniscrewsCase after case showing where screws simplify treatment.
- Damon system usersChang’s own approach to getting more from passive self-ligation.
- Aligner providersStrategies for cases that aligners alone struggle with.
