Advanced periodontal and peri-implant surgery from 16 lecturers — recession, GBR, sinus lift, lasers and peri-implantitis
Sixteen clinicians share the stage in Advanced Perio Masterclass, a collection of 15 lectures lasting almost 39 hours. Myron and Marc Nevins, Massimo Simion, Daniele Cardaropoli, Marisa Roncati, Gianluca Paniz, David Kim and Giorgio Carusi are among the speakers. Topics move from growth factors and soft tissue grafting to vertical ridge augmentation, crestal sinus elevation, laser therapy, trauma management and the treatment of failing implants.

What you’ll be able to do
- Choose between flapless and open approaches for implant site development with rhPDGF-BB
- Plan vertical and horizontal GBR and manage the soft tissue to avoid membrane exposure
- Decide when a crestal sinus lift is feasible with only 3–4 mm of residual bone
- Treat deep recession on lower incisors after orthodontics by combining root repositioning and grafting
- Apply surgical and non-surgical protocols for peri-implantitis and use lasers safely by wavelength
Inside the course
Bone: regeneration, ridges and the sinus
Marco Ronda and Massimo Simion discuss vertical and lateral augmentation with titanium mesh, non-resorbable and compressed collagen membranes, including live surgical footage. Giorgio Carusi summarises two decades of work on the transcrestal sinus technique and how bone density guides a slow membrane lift.
Soft tissue around teeth and implants
Lectures on soft tissue healing biology, preventive grafting and defect-specific techniques lead into prosthetic handling of the supracrestal tissues: margin design and position, emergence profiles, materials, and analogue versus digital workflows.
Interdisciplinary and long-term care
Roger Wise covers orthodontic-periodontal management of alveolar trauma in children and adults, including ankylosis and root resorption followed for years. Other sessions address long-term periodontal-endodontic outcomes in chronic periodontitis and everyday decisions on cementation, tooth-implant connection and overdentures versus fixed prostheses.
Infection and lasers
Marisa Roncati, author of three books on peri-implantitis, presents early interception, surface decontamination and reconstruction. A four-hour lecture explains laser fundamentals, safety rules and the indications of each wavelength in periodontal work.

Before you buy
Is this one course taught step by step?
No. It is a compilation of independent lectures by different speakers, so there is some overlap and the order is not a progressive syllabus.
Are all the lecture summaries accurate?
The descriptions for the implant esthetics planning lecture and the laser lecture were supplied with largely identical text, so check the titles rather than the summaries when choosing what to watch.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
