Digital dentures end to end — records, CAD/CAM systems and case selection in 15 lessons
Two prosthodontists who went fully digital with removable work, Nate Farley and Valerie McMillan, lead Dentures for a New Era: A Practical Education in Digital Dentures, an 11 h 52 min course of fifteen lessons. It compares the major systems, walks the records appointment and CAD/CAM software step by step, and weighs milling against printing — with an eye on making dentures a profitable part of the practice.

Inside the course
Foundations, analog and digital
The opening module revisits denture basics, anatomy and phonetics, then introduces the digital process so clinicians and technicians share the same starting point.
Records and design software
A full module on the records appointment covers reference-denture and wax-rim techniques and scanning, before a long CAD/CAM module tours Meshmixer, 3Shape, Blue Sky Plan and Exocad plus CAM output choices.
Case selection in practice
A case-reports module contrasts try-in and no-try-in approaches, using existing dentures, lip scans and photos to guide tooth position, vertical dimension and smile design in coordination with the lab.
Who is teaching
Farley is a board-certified prosthodontist and digital-resource author; McMillan switched to all-digital denture fabrication in 2015 and teaches a systematic approach to it.
