Five endodontists, one programme: broken files, MB2, C-shaped canals, retreatment and vital pulp therapy
Yoshi Terauchi, Martin Trope, James L. Gutmann, Michael Solomonov and Ilya Mer share the teaching in Endodontics: from classic protocols to extreme, a set of eight recorded lessons running 13 h 15 min. The programme moves between biology and hands-on technique: pulp preservation, apical terminus and working length, retrieval of separated instruments, difficult anatomy and the logic of retreatment versus extraction.

What you’ll be able to do
- Plan and perform ultrasonic removal of fractured files, and judge when a fragment can stay
- Choose between partial and full pulpotomy and pick a capping material with a biological rationale
- Set a defensible working length and apical endpoint using radiographs and an apex locator
- Find, clean and fill MB2 and C-shaped canals with the armamentarium you already own
- Weigh retreatment, apical surgery or replantation against implant placement
Inside the course
Separated instruments with Yoshi Terauchi
Two lessons, a short introduction and a fuller session, cover diagnosis, CBCT, location-dependent strategy, access preparation and microscope control. Terauchi developed the Yoshi Loop micro-lasso and a set of conservative ultrasonic tips, and the difference between “dancing” and “flexing” breakage is explained.
Keeping the pulp alive
Martin Trope and a closing lesson on vital pulp therapy look at reversible versus irreversible pulpitis, direct and indirect capping, calcium hydroxide against bioceramics, and newer shaping systems such as SAF and XP-Endo.
Where the canal ends
James Gutmann revisits the long debate over apical patency, overfill versus flush fill, tissue reactions to sealers and the kinds of periapical healing you can expect.
Difficult anatomy and failed cases
Dedicated sessions examine C-shaped systems (Melton and Fan classifications, danger zones, obturation choices) and MB2 prevalence and location on CBCT. A retreatment lesson covers success criteria after Strindberg, fracture and periodontal differentials, crown lengthening, extrusion and retrograde materials.

Before you buy
Do the first two lessons repeat each other?
Partly. Lesson 1 is a 31-minute introduction to broken file retrieval, and Lesson 2 goes over the same points at greater length and adds preparation protocol and clinical tips.
Will the teaching style feel consistent throughout?
No. It is a collection of separate lectures by five speakers, so style and depth change from lesson to lesson.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
