Heart in Diabetes Conference 2025 — three days of cardio-renal-metabolic medicine
The Heart in Diabetes Conference 2025, the ninth annual meeting, is recorded here as 72 videos across three days — close to 22 hours of teaching on where cardiology, nephrology and endocrinology meet. Resistant hypertension, CKD, hypercortisolism, sleep, MASLD, HFpEF, incretins and SGLT2 inhibitors, finerenone, ApoB and CETP inhibition, and obesity all get dedicated sessions, each block closing with a panel Q&A.

What you’ll be able to do
- Work up and treat resistant hypertension and CKD with or without albuminuria
- Combine GLP-1 RAs, SGLT2 inhibitors and non-steroidal MRAs for heart and kidney protection
- Recognise the cardiometabolic effects of hypercortisolism, sleep disorders and MASLD
- Use ApoB and newer lipid therapies, including CETP inhibitors, in practice
- Manage obesity with heart failure while preserving lean mass
- Read the latest cardiovascular outcome trials critically
Inside the course
Day one: hypertension, kidney and the diabetes comorbidities
Resistant hypertension and CKD open the meeting, followed by three talks on cortisol, MASLD and MASH, two on sleep, prediabetes, diabetes and dementia, lung disease and older adults. Implementation science, women’s lipid and heart failure risk, and four late-breaking studies with a Circulation panel complete the 28-video day.
Day two: Heart in Diabetes Conference 2025 on heart failure and incretins
Heart failure epidemiology, diabetic cardiomyopathy, bromocriptine in peripartum cardiomyopathy and HFpEF management lead into three incretin lectures. Genetics of lipid disorders, HoFH, CETP inhibitors, ApoB targets and dual agonists follow, then CKM disease, finerenone, digital health, food-is-medicine and the ARISE-HF results.
Day three: complex cases, obesity and ASCVD
Case-based sessions on obesity with heart failure and the edema dilemma, the Lancet Commission on Obesity, lean-mass preservation, ACE inhibitors in the SGLT2 era, aldosterone, combination therapy in diabetic kidney disease, the latest AHA statistics and an update on outcome trials.
