How EchoSAP 2024 is organised
The program opens with study tips and background, then physical principles, instrumentation and the principles of a complete examination — the foundation the rest of the curriculum builds on.
The core diagnostic curriculum
Valvular disease and chamber size and function form the heaviest sections, followed by congenital heart disease, then cardiac masses, pericardial disease and contrast echocardiography.
Echo in the procedure room and in special situations
Two closing sections cover echocardiography for cardiac interventions and in unusual clinical settings, where standard protocols need adapting.
