Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2024 — the whole blueprint, one faculty
The Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2024 puts 61 recorded lectures from 45 Mayo Clinic cardiologists into one library you keep: arrhythmias, coronary disease, heart failure, valves, congenital and vascular disease, then a full echo block and dedicated ECG, cath and echo coding sessions. Released on 18 November 2024, it is built for fellows sitting the cardiovascular boards and for cardiologists heading into recertification who want the syllabus taught by the people who run it.
- 61recorded lectures
- 45Mayo Clinic faculty
- 14chalk talks
- Nov 2024release
What you’ll be able to do
- Choose rhythm or rate control and anticoagulation in atrial fibrillation and SVT
- Work up syncope and out-of-hospital arrest and pick the right device — pacemaker, ICD or CRT
- Take an ACS patient from presentation to reperfusion and through adjunctive therapy
- Separate constriction from restriction on hemodynamics and treat HFrEF and HFpEF
- Grade stenosis, regurgitation and prosthetic valve dysfunction with confidence
- Code ECGs, cath studies and echoes the way the board exam expects
Inside the course
Rhythm, coronaries and the failing heart
The course opens where most exam points sit. Seven arrhythmia lectures run from AF and SVT to channelopathies, antiarrhythmic drug interactions and device therapy; eight coronary sessions cover primary prevention, ACS in two parts, MI complications, multimodality imaging and revascularization. Heart failure follows, from the cardiomyopathies to acute decompensation and transplant.
Valves, pericardium, congenital and vascular disease
Ten valve lectures pair clinical decision-making with the echo view of each lesion, including a live hemodynamics session and a dedicated tricuspid talk. Pericarditis and myocarditis, simple and complex adult congenital disease, the aorta, peripheral arteries, venous thromboembolism, carotid and renal disease, hypertension and pulmonary hypertension complete the clinical sweep.
The Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2024 echo block
Ten echo sessions read the heart the way the boards test it: M-mode and systolic function, stress echo and wall motion, mechanical complications of MI, hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy, diastolic and right ventricular function, cardiac masses, and 3D guidance in the interventional suite. Mayo presents this Echo Focus block as extra material beyond the board syllabus.
Coding practice, chalk talks and board extras
Three coding lectures drill ECG, cath and echo interpretation in exam format. Fourteen chalk talks review key concepts in a whiteboard style, and five supplemental lectures add cardiac amyloidosis, cardio-oncology, cardiovascular pharmacology, diabetes and the heart, and heart disease in women.
Built for
- Cardiology fellowsA complete, faculty-led pass through the cardiovascular board blueprint before exam day.
- Cardiologists recertifyingEvery major topic refreshed in one place, with coding drills for the exam format.
- General internistsA structured update on current cardiovascular practice from a single institution.
- Echo-minded cliniciansTen imaging lectures that tie the echo findings back to the clinical decision.

Before you buy
What format do the lectures come in?
Each session is a recorded video with its presentation slides, plus 14 chalk talk videos — downloadable right after checkout and kept in your account.
Is the echo section part of the board syllabus?
Mayo labels the ten-lecture Echo Focus block as bonus material rather than board content, so treat it as an imaging refresher on top of the core review.
Should I get the 2024 or the 2025 edition?
The 2024 edition shares most of its faculty and structure with the 2025 release; choose 2025 if you also want its pre- and post-test question bank.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
