Orthodontic biomechanics you can bend into wire: forces, torques, loops and finishing with Kleber Meireles
Brazilian orthodontist Kleber Meireles condenses a decade of biomechanics study into High-Level Orthodontist Training Course: 88 lessons over 30 h 36 min, plus PDF material. It starts with centres of resistance and moments, works through bracket positioning and first-, second- and third-order bends, then spends most of its time on space closure, finishing and recorded live case discussions.

What you’ll be able to do
- Predict tooth movement from force systems, moments and couples instead of trial and error
- Position brackets and tubes so that bonding does the work of bends
- Place inset, offset, Z and step bends and know when each is needed
- Tell real from relative torque and control it during camouflage and retraction
- Choose and activate closing, box, delta and L loops for specific problems
Inside the course
Physics first
Module I defines orthodontic force, resultants and components, translation, rotation and equivalent force systems, the vocabulary the rest of the programme depends on.
Bonding and the three orders of bends
Modules II to V deal with vertical and angular bracket errors, special bonding for canines and Class II finishing, then a three-hour block on anterior and posterior torque and the variables that reduce its expression.
Space closure and finishing
Retraction is taught across eight parts, followed by four long live classes on Class II and III tricks, torques and everyday mechanics, and two recorded academy meetings.
Short wire demonstrations
Around fifty clips, most under a minute or two, show individual bends, loops and torque effects such as the wagon wheel and rowboat effects being made and activated.
Built for
- Orthodontic residents and recent graduatesA structured route from theory to the wire in the mouth.
- Orthodontists who rely on pre-adjusted appliances aloneBending and loop skills to rescue finishing when the brackets are not enough.

Before you buy
How much of the running time is live-class recordings?
Roughly 13 hours sit in Module VII’s four live classes, and another 2 h 10 min in two meeting recordings, so a large share is discussion rather than edited lessons.
Is everything strictly about orthodontics?
No. A two-hour bonus teaches basic video creation, and the PDF folder contains 22 files of Mulligan’s “Common Sense Mechanics”.
Will the claims about shorter treatment times apply to my cases?
The instructor presents his method as faster, but results depend on case selection; treat that as his view rather than a guarantee.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
