Simple to surgical extractions, tooth by tooth — 50 short lectures with model, whiteboard and patient videos
Surgically trained prosthodontist Ivan Chicchon and oral surgeon Matthew Krieger built Implant Extraction as a step-by-step exodontia library: 50 lectures across 11 modules in 4 h 09 min. It pairs whiteboard theory with model demonstrations and real patient videos, working region by region from anteriors to mandibular molars, then through complications and practical bonus topics.

What you’ll be able to do
- Assemble the right armamentarium and choose the correct instrument
- Understand centre of rotation and proper forcep and elevator use
- Decide between routine and surgical extraction, including sectioning
- Work each region — anteriors, premolars and molars — with a clear plan
- Recognise and manage complications such as osteitis and sinus exposure
- Judge when to curette a socket or reach for antibiotics
Inside the course
Tools and surgical theory
Early modules cover the instrument set, sutures, grafts and membranes, then the mechanics of extraction — centre of rotation, forcep and elevator technique, the three types of extraction and when to go surgical.
Region by region
Separate modules take anteriors, premolars, maxillary molars and mandibular molars in turn, each showing a routine approach and a surgical approach on both whiteboard and model.
Real cases and complications
A patient-video module walks through broken molars, fractured root tips and single-tooth cases, followed by a module on alveolar osteitis, post-op bleeding, sinus exposure and the five common mistakes.
Who is teaching
Chicchon trained at the Dugoni School with residency at Michigan; Krieger is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon focused on full-arch implant work.

Before you buy
Are the lectures long lectures or short clips?
Short. Fifty lectures fit into about 4 h 09 min, so each is quick to watch and easy to revisit before a case.
Does it show real surgery?
Yes. Alongside model and whiteboard teaching, one module presents patient videos of actual extractions.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
