With Management and communication in dental practice you get nine separate programmes, 323 lessons and just over 129 hours of teaching focused on everything that happens around the chair rather than in it. Frank Spear, Gregg Kinzer, Devang Patel, Imtiaz Manji, Amy Morgan and more than twenty other clinicians, coaches and marketers cover patient conversations, decision-tree treatment planning, team leadership, billing, marketing and long-term succession.

Inside the course
Talking with patients
Devang Patel shares the rapport techniques that, in his view, did more for his full-mouth practice than any postgraduate degree. A separate patient-experience course prepares front-desk, hygiene and operatory staff for objections and complaints, and treats stress as something a team can learn to use.
Planning and presenting the case
The Spear faculty course on treatment planning is built around decision trees: each one lists the clinical parameters to check, the options with their risks and benefits, and before-and-after photographs to compare with your own patient. It closes with fee setting for interdisciplinary work.
Systems, leadership and team alignment
Shorter programmes deal with clinic management systems, strategic planning and human-centred leadership — hiring, legal pitfalls, performance management and recognising achievements. The 32-hour Practice Playbook ties communication and care protocols together across the whole team.
Running the business for the long term
Two large business courses (over 31 hours each) cover medical billing, finance, digital marketing, ergonomics, associate compensation, partnerships, practice transitions and succession planning.

Before you buy
Are these nine courses also sold individually?
Several of them may appear as separate products in the catalogue, so check your library before buying to avoid paying twice for the same lessons.
Is there clinical hands-on content?
Very little. Apart from the treatment-planning decision trees, the focus is communication, leadership and business rather than operative technique.
Is it relevant outside the United States?
Most instructors practise in the US, so sections on insurance, medical billing and legal hiring issues reflect that system; the communication and leadership material travels well.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
