Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2025 with pre- and post-test question bank
The Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2025 pairs 55 lectures from 42 Mayo Clinic faculty with the PDF slide decks and the pre- and post-test question banks, so you can find your weak areas first and prove them fixed afterwards. Released on 7 October 2025, it covers the complete cardiovascular board blueprint — rhythm, coronary, heart failure, valve, congenital, vascular and imaging — for fellows, recertifying cardiologists and internists who want a current update.
- 55lectures
- 42Mayo Clinic faculty
- 2question banks
- 14chalk talks
What you’ll be able to do
- Pinpoint your weakest topics with the pre-test question bank before you start watching
- Diagnose and manage restrictive cardiomyopathy and other non-dilated phenotypes
- Run a probability-based VTE and pulmonary embolism work-up
- Stratify coronary risk in patients without known CAD
- Class antiarrhythmic drugs by mechanism and anticipate their interactions
- Manage the pregnant patient with heart disease through the physiologic changes of pregnancy
Inside the course
Arrhythmias and coronary disease
Seven rhythm lectures cover AF and SVT diagnosis and treatment, ventricular arrhythmias, the channelopathies, proarrhythmia and device therapy. In the coronary block, Malcolm Bell teaches both halves of acute coronary syndromes, from first presentation to adjunctive therapy, around sessions on prevention, stable CAD, MI complications, pre-operative assessment, imaging and revascularization.
Heart failure, valves and the pericardium
Heart failure runs from the cardiomyopathies and ventricular function to HFrEF, HFpEF, acute decompensation, devices and transplant, then constriction against restriction. Ten valve lectures follow, including a hemodynamics session, tricuspid regurgitation and echo in endocarditis, before a lecture on pericardial disease and myocarditis.
Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Board Review 2025 vascular, imaging and coding
Congenital heart disease in two parts, the aorta, peripheral and carotid disease, venous thromboembolism, hypertension and pulmonary hypertension complete the clinical content. Ten echo lectures, pregnancy and the heart, cardiovascular pharmacology, and ECG and echo coding practice finish the core syllabus.
Question banks and chalk talks
A pre-test maps what you already know; the post-test confirms what the lectures fixed. Fourteen short chalk talks revisit the high-yield concepts in a whiteboard format for the final weeks before the exam.
