Normal transthoracic and transesophageal examinations, spectral Doppler and M-mode cases, basic ultrasound and Doppler physics, imaging concepts and knobology, and artifacts with illustrative examples.
ASE ASCeXAM ReASCE Review Course 2026 function and valve lectures
Chamber quantitation, systolic function and remodelling, deformation imaging, the right ventricle, diastolic function and ageing, hemodynamics and stress echo — then eleven valve lectures covering stenosis, regurgitation, degenerative and functional mitral disease, and both mitral and aortic prostheses.
Disease states, congenital and special topics
Endocarditis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the athlete’s heart, systemic disease, masses and embolic sources, MI complications, pericardial constriction versus restriction, the aorta, heart failure with LVADs and transplant, pregnancy, adult congenital disease, fetal echo, handheld echo, contrast and interventional echo.
