Sinus lifts, 3D bone augmentation, All-on-4 and TMJ surgery — 13 surgical lectures from Malo, Wolford, Sohn and Zadeh
In Oral Surgery from A to Z: Tooth Extraction, Implantation, Sinus Lifting, nine surgeons — Paulo Malo, Larry Wolford, Dong-Seok Sohn, Homa Zadeh, Stefan Renvert, Pascal Valentini, Michele Jacotti, Massimo Frosecchi and Robert Carvalho da Silva — each take on the topic they are known for. Thirteen long lessons, about 20 hours in all, cover lateral and crestal sinus augmentation, horizontal and vertical ridge grafting, flaps and suturing, All-on-4, peri-implantitis and TMJ surgery.

What you’ll be able to do
- Choose between one- and two-stage sinus augmentation and manage membrane perforation, bleeding and infection
- Perform crestal lifts with PISE and HPISE, including Sohn’s Poncho technique
- Plan horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation with titanium membranes, the sausage technique and lingual flap release
- Select incisions, flap designs and suture patterns around implants
- Run All-on-4 protocols for maxilla and mandible and set up maintenance
- Decide whether to treat or remove an implant with peri-implantitis
Inside the course
Three lessons on the maxillary sinus
Anatomy, patient selection and contraindications, L-PRF as sole graft, and a full catalogue of intra- and post-operative complications. Unusual cases — mycetoma, residual cyst, displaced implants, osteoma and oro-antral fistula — are treated alongside alternatives such as short, tilted and zygomatic implants.
Bone and soft tissue
Ridge augmentation lessons cover autogenous harvesting, cortical perforation, the ABC classification, VISTA tunnel access, membrane selection algorithms and live grafting surgery. A separate lesson details flap mobilisation, keratinised tissue gain and six suturing methods.
Full-arch rehabilitation and peri-implant care
The All-on-4 lesson traces the concept’s evolution, tilted implants and navigated surgery; the next explains home and professional maintenance with indices and recall intervals. The final lesson gives a surgical and non-surgical treatment algorithm for peri-implantitis, including lasers, antibiotics and surface decontamination.
Temporomandibular joint surgery
Larry Wolford presents condylar hyperplasia, Mitek anchor disc repositioning, condylar resorption, total joint replacement with virtual planning, and trauma, tumours, ankylosis and craniofacial syndromes.
Built for
- ImplantologistsSinus, grafting and full-arch techniques from the surgeons who shaped them.
- PeriodontistsSoft tissue, VISTA and peri-implantitis protocols in depth.
- Orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeonsThe three TMJ lessons explain when joint surgery is part of the plan.

Before you buy
Is there a lesson on tooth extraction or anaesthesia?
Despite the title, none of the 13 lessons is dedicated to extraction technique or local anaesthesia; the programme concentrates on sinus, grafting, implant, peri-implant and TMJ surgery.
Who teaches which lesson?
Lessons are not credited individually, but the topics match each author’s field — for example Sohn for crestal sinus lifts, Malo for All-on-4 and Wolford for TMJ.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
