Dental office safety and team leadership in one package — OSHA, infection control and self-directed teams
Two long-time practice consultants, Mary Govoni and Amy Morgan, split OSHA, Leadership & Dental Practice Culture into a compliance half and a leadership half. A 3.5-hour module walks through US workplace safety rules, hazardous chemicals and waste, emergencies and the full infection prevention routine, while a shorter one-hour module shows owners and managers how to build a team that takes initiative on its own. There are 25 lessons in total.

Inside the course
Regulatory safety, step by step
The long first module covers chemical safety, federal and state disposal rules, evacuation planning and workplace violence prevention before turning to infection control. Hand hygiene, protective equipment, sterilisation, contaminated laundry, sharps and waste handling, and CDC guidance each get their own lesson.
Leading a team that runs itself
Four lessons explain what a self-directed team looks like, how leadership needs change as an organisation grows, when to adapt your style to the situation, and how to give feedback as a coach.
Who is teaching
Govoni has worked with dental teams for more than 40 years, is an OSHA outreach trainer and a past president of the American Dental Assistants Association. Morgan has consulted for over 30 years, formerly led the Pride Institute and has written several books on leadership.

Before you buy
Does the compliance material apply outside the United States?
The safety module is built around US federal rules (OSHA, CDC) and mentions state requirements, so clinics elsewhere will need to check local regulations.
How deep does the leadership part go?
It is a one-hour module of four lessons, an introduction rather than a full management programme.
Why do two lessons share the CDC title?
The course lists the CDC guidelines lesson twice in a row; it appears to be one topic delivered in two parts.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
