Sinus augmentation from five surgical schools — lateral and crestal lifts, HPISE, sinus pathology and complication rescue
Five surgeons with different philosophies share the stage in Predictable Sinus Lift Course: Dong-Seok Sohn, Pascal Valentini, Michele Jacotti, Radoslaw Jadach and Nicolas Aronna Mallia. Its 11 lessons, almost 17 hours in total, move from sinus anatomy and CBCT-based case selection through open, closed and palatal approaches to graft-free and L-PRF techniques, cyst and foreign-body removal, and the management of perforations, sinusitis and fistulas.

What you’ll be able to do
- Read CBCT of the maxillary sinus — septa, vessels, membrane and pathology — to choose between augmentation and ridge-only grafting
- Perform lateral-window, crestal and osteotome sinus lifts with or without simultaneous implants
- Use Sohn’s PISE and HPISE hydrodynamic piezoelectric elevation and the SANTA tenting abutment
- Repair Schneiderian membrane perforations with membranes and graft placement strategies
- Remove cysts, displaced implants and foreign bodies and lift the sinus in the same session
- Prevent and treat postoperative sinusitis, infected grafts and oroantral fistulas
Inside the course
Diagnosis and access
Early lessons review sinus anatomy and histology, septa variants, invasive aspergillosis and flap design, then set out indications for open versus closed lifting, the instrument set and patient aftercare. Osteo-periosteal flaps, palatal access and ridge splitting combined with lifting follow.
Newer biological approaches
Lessons compare one- and two-stage augmentation, L-PRF as the only graft and bone formation with gelatine sponge or venous blood. Sohn contrasts lateral and crestal methods and demonstrates flapless and poncho techniques with sticky bone.
Classic protocols and structured assessment
A checklist-driven lesson assesses periodontal, systemic and radiographic factors and growth-factor use. A classic-protocol session handles high Underwood septa, bilateral and nasal-floor lifts, block grafting, surgical templates and metronidazole with biomaterials.
When the sinus is not healthy
Final lessons tackle acute and chronic sinusitis, pseudo-cysts, mycetoma, mucocele, osteoma, oroantral fistulas and implants lost into the antrum using piezosurgery, and list alternatives — short, tilted or zygomatic implants — when a lift is not wise.

Before you buy
Will I see the same technique repeated by different speakers?
Some overlap exists, such as anatomy and perforation repair, because each surgeon presents a full personal protocol.
Does it replace hands-on training?
No. It prepares you with protocols and recorded cases; supervised practice is still advisable before operating.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
