Fresh-cadaver facial anatomy for safer filler placement, with Sebastian Cotofana — Portuguese edition
Revisão de Anatomia com o Professor Cotofana is a Portuguese-language version of anatomist Professor Sebastian Cotofana’s short dissection series. In seven lessons lasting 1 h 09 min he opens a fresh cadaver face layer by layer and links what you see to injection work in the temples, jawline, upper face and cheeks, including his “domino effect” approach to indirect lifting.
- 7lessons
- 1 h 09 mintotal
- 1full-face dissection
What you’ll be able to do
- Describe the layers of the face and how they relate to injection depth
- Place supraperiosteal temple filler with the neighbouring arteries in mind
- Identify the jawline anatomy that matters for contouring
- Explain the domino effect: how filler in one zone can lift another
- Locate vessels, nerves, ROOF and fat compartments in the upper face to choose the safest plane
- Approach the nasolabial fold with a 22G cannula from a dermal entry point
Inside the course
Layers and the temple
A brief tour of the facial layers is followed by two temple lessons that compare ways of adding volume there, with attention to the temporal muscle and to landmarks that keep product away from vessels.
Jawline and the domino effect
The two longest lessons, about a quarter of an hour each, explain jawline structure and Cotofana’s biomechanical reasoning for treating lateral and medial face together, demonstrated with Art Filler Volume.
Upper face and cheeks
A dissection of the upper third shows compartmentalised fat, fascial planes and the relationship of arteries and nerves; the final lesson addresses midface ageing and cannula repositioning of the nasolabial fold.

Before you buy
Which language do I hear in these seven dissection videos?
Portuguese. The English-language edition, Professor Cotofana Anatomy Review, has the same seven lessons, so buy only the version you prefer.
How much depth can I expect in about an hour?
It is a concise review. Several lessons last under ten minutes, and it does not replace a full anatomy course or cadaver lab.
Is the sixth lesson about a molar tooth?
No. Its Portuguese title, “Terceiro Molar Superior”, is an evident translation slip for the upper third; the lesson itself dissects the upper third of the face.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
