Primary rhinoplasty techniques on cadaver specimens
Day one walks through approaches, tongue-in-groove maneuvers, tip techniques, septal extension grafts, lateral crural tensioning, and alar base modifications — all performed on cadaver specimens under the direct guidance of Drs. Toriumi and Davis. The cadaver lab environment lets you observe septal L-strut work, spreader graft placement, dorsal preservation, and piezotome pushdown in realistic tissue conditions without the time pressure of a live operating room.
Revision rhinoplasty and graft harvesting
The second day shifts to revision rhinoplasty with hands-on cadaver work covering rib harvest, graft slicing and dicing, solid rib dorsal revision, lateral crural reconstruction, diced cartilage-fascia grafts, conchal graft harvest, shield grafts, and microfat or nanofat transfers. Each technique is demonstrated with the kind of deliberate pacing that lets you follow the biomechanical reasoning behind every incision and fixation.
Complementary surgical and didactic footage
