Scripps Clinical Hematology and Oncology 2025 — three La Jolla days of blood disorders and cancer updates
Scripps Clinical Hematology and Oncology 2025 captures the February 15–17, 2025 meeting at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla in 41 videos plus one PDF, a 22.73 GB download. Day one is devoted to haematology — perioperative thrombocytopenia, antiphospholipid syndrome, obscure bleeding, AML, myeloma transplant, low-risk MDS, B-ALL and HLH — and ends with four case breakouts. Days two and three turn to breast, melanoma, kidney, GI, neuroendocrine, gynaecologic, sarcoma, prostate and lung cancer, finishing with survivorship symptoms.

What you’ll be able to do
- Work up a barely abnormal CBC or bleeding without an obvious cause
- Judge hormonal therapy against thrombosis risk and manage antiphospholipid syndrome
- Revisit whether transplant still belongs in myeloma and how low-risk MDS is treated now
- Sequence therapy in HR-positive and triple-negative breast cancer, including HER2-ultralow disease
- Plan rectal cancer care around TNT, ctDNA and surgery with a multidisciplinary team
- Manage hormone-deprivation and skin side effects after treatment
Inside the course
Saturday: benign and malignant haematology
Ted Warkentin, Damon Houghton, Alice Ma, Stephan Moll, Jason Gotlib and Menaka Pai handle platelets, clotting, eosinophilia and bleeding before Morie Gertz, Aref Al-Kali, Wendy Stock and Stephen Schuster move to myeloma, MDS, B-ALL and refractory DLBCL.
Case breakouts
Four small-group sessions revisit thrombosis, thrombocytopenia, bleeding and plasma cell dyscrasias through the faculty’s own difficult patients.
Scripps Clinical Hematology and Oncology solid-tumour days
Aditya Bardia and Laura Huppert anchor breast cancer, Sumanta Pal covers variant-histology RCC, a medical oncologist, rectal surgeon and radiation oncologist from the same team debate rectal cancer, and Jonathan Strosberg updates neuroendocrine tumours.
Monday wrap-up
Ramez Eskander on endometrial immunotherapy, Mark Agulnik on metastatic soft tissue sarcoma, Tanya Barauskas Dorff on localised prostate cancer and Kamya Sankar on ALK-positive lung cancer precede the survivorship talks.
