Virtual Cardiac CTA 2022 — Level 2 lectures and 100 mentored coronary CT angiography cases
Virtual Cardiac CTA 2022 (Interactive way) teaches coronary CT angiography the way it is actually learned: by reading lots of cases. Dr Carter Newton and Dr Roger Bies deliver the Level 2 cardiac CTA lecture series, then walk through 100 training cases, each with a full video case review or a short summary of the key findings. The provider estimates around 44 hours to complete the programme.

Inside the course
Level 2 lecture series
Newton and Bies teach the acquisition and interpretation skills expected of a Level 2 cardiac CTA reader, aimed at cardiologists and radiologists.
Virtual Cardiac CTA case reviews
For each of the 100 cases you can watch the complete expert read or jump to a brief highlight video, so the library works both for deep study and for quick revision.
Reading against the experts
Originally students read each dataset on the workstation before comparing with the trainers; with the recordings, pausing before each review and committing to a diagnosis keeps much of that benefit for your pattern recognition.
Built for
- Cardiologists starting a CT serviceStructured lectures plus volume of cases in one place.
- Radiologists adding cardiac imagingFocused teaching on CTA interpretation, patient selection and artefacts.
- Imaging fellowsA large mentored case set to supplement departmental reading.
Before you buy
Does it include the online 3D workstation and live webinars?
The original course gave students a cloud-based 3D workstation for manipulating the datasets and two one-hour live webinars with the trainers. Those are hosted services and live events that a download cannot reproduce, so expect the lectures and case review videos rather than workstation access or webinar sessions.
Will these cases count toward my training log?
Mentored-case recognition under competence statements is granted by the original provider to its registered students; buying these files does not add cases to any training record.
Is it current?
It is the 2022 edition; core CTA interpretation is stable, but newer techniques and guidelines are not reflected.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
