Everyday restorative dentistry made calmer and faster — bleeding margins, quick preps, rubber dam, anaesthesia and ceramics
Eight clinicians from Australia, India, Poland and the USA share the eleven lectures of 10 Keys to Success Restoration Fundamentals, almost 13 hours aimed at the daily frustrations of general practice. Lincoln Harris, Vishal Gupta, Michael Melkers, Arthur Volker and colleagues cover deep subgingival margins, direct anterior composites, efficient preparations, isolation, non-implant tooth replacement, occlusion under heavy forces, profound anaesthesia, ceramic selection, team delegation and a first step into digital workflows.

What you’ll be able to do
- Handle deep subgingival margins, bleeding tissue and five-surface matrixing without losing the afternoon
- Place direct anterior composites with a simplified layering or single-shade approach
- Cut faster, smoother preparations with an electric handpiece and a short bur kit
- Offer non-implant options for a single missing tooth and plan their fabrication
- Achieve reliable local anaesthesia in patients who are hard to numb
- Select ceramic materials on evidence and brief the laboratory properly
Inside the course
The chairside problems that cause stress
Lincoln Harris tackles anxious patients, gaggers, questionable prognoses and big build-ups, then shows his method for halving preparation time on direct and indirect work. Andrew Thorpe uses anatomy and physiology to explain why anaesthesia fails and how to get a difficult patient comfortable before the drill starts.
Composite, isolation and ceramics
Vishal Gupta presents two lectures: anterior composite layering alongside newer adhesives and mono-shade materials, and a practical case for rubber dam as a time saver that also improves safety and material performance. Arthur Volker closes the materials theme with ceramic selection and lab communication.
Prosthodontic thinking beyond implants
Michael Frazis revisits bridges and other tooth-replacement options that predate implants, with planning and fabrication steps. Michael Melkers explains what to look for in patients with destructive occlusal forces and when occlusal therapy is justified.
Digital basics and the team
Pawel Paszkiwicz gives two talks on adopting digital dentistry in a logical order and using it for records and planning. Katelyn Murray, an assistant and oral health therapist, explains how delegating to trained OHTs and assistants frees the dentist for complex work.

Before you buy
Why are there eleven lectures when the title says ten?
The ten “keys” are themes; digital dentistry is split across two talks, which brings the total to eleven.
Is the team lecture relevant outside Australia?
It is built around the Australian oral health therapist role, so what can be delegated will depend on your local regulations.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
