Doppler physics and aortic evaluation
The program opens with imaging fundamentals and abdominal Doppler physics, establishing the technical foundation for accurate flow interrogation. Abdominal aortic evaluation covers aneurysm and dissection protocols, with dedicated coverage of endovascular graft surveillance and the five endoleak types.
Renal, mesenteric, and hepatic Doppler
Renal artery stenosis evaluation uses both direct and indirect Doppler and color flow methods. The mesenteric and porto-hepatic duplex module addresses normal and abnormal flow characteristics for mesenteric ischemia, portal hypertension, portal vein thrombosis, and Budd-Chiari syndrome assessment.
Transplant sonography fundamentals
