Giovanni Zucchelli’s complete mucogingival and regenerative programme — 59 hours of theory and narrated surgeries
Giovanni Zucchelli of the University of Bologna leads all nine modules of Advanced Techniques for Optimizing Gingival and Mucosal Health, a 55-lesson, 59-hour programme on periodontal and peri-implant soft tissue. It progresses from surgical indications and palatal grafts through single and multiple recession coverage, bilaminar techniques and intrabony regeneration to soft-tissue volume, dehiscence and immediate implants, with step-by-step ReLIVE surgery videos throughout.

What you’ll be able to do
- Harvest and position palatal connective tissue grafts predictably
- Cover single and multiple recessions with the coronally advanced flap, grafts or matrices
- Apply the Connective Wall Technique and distal releasing incisions in multi-tooth cases
- Decide between extraction and regeneration for vertical bone defects
- Treat peri-implant dehiscence and add keratinised tissue around osseointegrated implants
- Manage immediate implants in fresh sockets with or without a CTG
Inside the course
Foundations and root coverage around teeth
Five theory sessions set out anatomy, diagnosis, graft harvesting and flap planning. Modules two to four apply them to isolated recessions (six lessons with five ReLIVE surgeries), multiple recessions and the bilaminar approach, explaining why single or multiple flaps suit different sites.
Periodontal regeneration
Three theory lectures classify vertical defects and introduce the Wall Technique, then connect directly to the recorded regenerative surgeries.
Soft tissue around implants
The final four modules compare recession around teeth and implants, show post-implant vestibuloplasty and a computer-guided placement, examine CTG and CAF for single-implant dehiscence, build volume with the connective platform approach, and close on immediate placement protocols.
About Giovanni Zucchelli
